YJCEN supplied an integrator with one 49-inch double-sided floor-standing digital signage unit for a university library in Europe. The library needed to show venue information and event announcements to people approaching from two directions. Two back-to-back screens present the same content on either side of the unit.

Library Information for Two Directions of Foot Traffic
The integrator selected a double-sided layout so that people approaching from either side could see the library’s messages. Both screens carry the same content, giving each direction access to the same venue information and event announcements.
This viewing requirement shaped the choice of a double-sided floor-standing display: two outward-facing screens housed in one unit.

Planning Digital Signage for a Library?
Tell us your screen size, installation location, quantity and the directions from which people will approach the display. For a double-sided unit, let us know whether each side should show the same or different content.
For projects that require visitors to search for information on-screen, you can choose a touch-enabled floor-standing display or an interactive information kiosk.
