In Marrakech, Morocco, a city tourism wayfinding project needed outdoor interactive displays that visitors can use in open plazas for navigation and tourist information. The site chose ten 55″ outdoor floor-standing displays from YJCEN — 3000 nits, IP65, Windows with touch — supplied as freestanding outdoor units with their floor bases for continuous public wayfinding use.

Why this configuration
| Site condition | Selected specification |
|---|---|
| Open-plaza tourist wayfinding with day and night use | Outdoor high-brightness panels at 3000 nits |
| Weather exposure in a public outdoor plaza | IP65 outdoor enclosure |
| Active cooling required for outdoor continuous operation | Outdoor floor-standing wayfinding kiosk with fan cooling, rather than a wall-mounted outdoor display or a window-facing high-brightness screen |
| Visitors browse maps and tourist information on site | Touch-enabled display running Windows; wayfinding / CMS software is the customer’s system (not supplied by YJCEN) |

Delivery and results
Ten 55″ outdoor floor-standing displays (with included footing/bases) were delivered for Marrakech tourist wayfinding and are operating in public plaza use (2026). Units appear as freestanding outdoor totems fixed to paved ground on site.
If your project is similar
For outdoor tourist wayfinding or city information points, share screen size, quantity, ambient light (nits target), weather exposure (IP rating), mounting preference, and whether you need Windows or Android with touch. If the display sits behind shop-front glass rather than in open air, a window high-brightness display is usually a better fit than a fully outdoor IP65 floor-standing unit. For wall-mounted outdoor sites, see the outdoor wall-mounted display.
