Customer Requirements: Protection for Outdoor Use
The customer’s main purchasing priority was the enclosure’s outdoor protection rating. IP65 was a specified requirement, alongside a high-brightness screen for outdoor viewing conditions.
The project therefore called for equipment designed for outdoor installation, with enclosure protection and display brightness considered together during hardware selection.
The Solution: Freestanding Outdoor Display Hardware
IP65 Protection and 3,000-Nit Brightness
The selected configuration combined the requested IP65 protection rating with a 3,000-nit display. These specifications formed the basis of the order, addressing the customer’s priorities for an exposed outdoor installation.
Floor-Standing Enclosures for Ground-Level Installation
The displays use portrait-oriented screens in freestanding enclosures with mounting bases. This arrangement provides a dedicated support structure without requiring the screen to be mounted directly onto a building wall.
YJCEN supplied the display hardware only. Site preparation, foundation work, electrical connections and on-site installation were outside our supply scope.
